Dr visit

Hema took Kamal to a Dr visit (I could not go due to a work meeting) but the visit went very well. Kamal is now 11Ibs 3 oz so he is putting on weight very well. Everything was excellent and we are going to have our next appointment in a month which is when Kamal will get his immunization.

Jaimini Jani

At iHop

Kamal, Hema and Jaimini are continuing there outdoor excursions and are now at iHop. For those who don't know what that is it's a restaurant that specializes in breakfast foods like pancakes, eggs but also serves steaks and burgers etc.

Taking a bath

Kamal is getting a little stinky and its been a couple of days since his last bath so we decided to give him one. He really seems to enjoy the water on him and does not fuss at all.

Visiting Khadija

We went to visit Rabia, Iftikhar and Rizwan and there new addition Khadija. She is beautiful, a very precious child. It was funny to see her with Kamal because he is double her weight and size so she looks so cute and tiny next to him. Mashallah Rabia looked radiant after delivery and everyone seemed very happy. Again congratulations to the happy parents.

Our niece has arrived

We have just received word that my older brother Iftikhar and his wife Rabia Khan have had there second child, a girl moments ago. Mashallah she is healthy and weighs 5Ibs 13 ounces and is 19 inches long.

The funny thing is she looks almost exactly like Kamal when he was born which means she will probably be a very pretty girl going forward ;)

Congratulations to the parents. This is something I am so happy for them for b/c now I understand the feelings and emotions of having a child also.

Its morning, Kamal had a good night but he's STILL passed out lol.

Sunday night

Kamal has calmed down a lot since last night and has had a nice restful day only getting upset when hungry. Right now Kamal is with Hema and Jaimini hanging out.

Top of the morning

So Kamal barely slept last night and were not sure why. Jaimini has an interesting take on it and believes Kamal MAY be beginning to teeth. Kamal has been drooling very heavily past two days, his bum is red and his gums (something that the books state is a sign of teething) trouble sleeping and random fussiness which Kamal has been experiencing all of a sudden. We have a done a lot of research and basically its stated that most kids have teeth coming in around 6 months, however there is rare occasions when a kid can start teething in there 4-5 weeks. This is an interesting concept and we will see if this pans out.
