Kamal watching Ice Age movie

Kamal is watching a movie Ice Age: Age of the dinosaurs with me on the tv. He is like his father and loving the TV.

Top of the morning to all. We slept horrible but Kamal is up and in great spirits. We just setup the two tvs with cable, apple tv and ps3 so we are good to go.

Kamal being Kamal

Tonight we are heading to Dallas for Hema's job so I took a vacation day to hang with Kamal seeing as we will we be spending some close time through Tuesday. Below are pictures of Kamal bouncing around in his chair and at the bottom a video of him bouncing around.

We will try to blog as much as possible on this trip to Dallas as it will be Kamal's first vacation ;)

Removing the peacock

In the last month we have noticed that Kamal is growing a lot of hair in the back of his head making it sometime look like a peacock. Today we decided to remedy the situation by removing the peacock so here are some before pictures:

Khadija and Kamal are hanging out, but not to happy. So to show us there displeasure they kicked it up a notch............

And then showed us how unhappy they were at the decision we made to prop them up and sit next to each other to take pictures.

Kamal was on his changing station strapped in and I turned around to throw his diaper in the diaper genie and Kamal had pulled the straps apart.

Kamal has arisen and with him the family has awoken. I am doing some cleaning (shocker) while Kamal sits in his throne watching.

Kamal first solids

Kamal went to the doctors today and the doctors said everything is looking good. He know weighs 20 Ibs and we can feel it when carrying him ;)

Today the doctor also told Hema we can start feeding him solids so Hema gave Kamal rice cereal.

The below video is Kamals first solids feed. Near the end you will see Kamal starts opening his mouth to eat out of the spoon compared to the start where he did not understand what was going on.
