Poor Kamal was up late again so Hema and I tagged team holding him. I took over around 1am and Hema told me to help burp him because she thought it was gas. After giving him medicine and burping him for nearly two hours I was skepticle. Around 2:45 am I put him in his swing and let him swing but he still would not calm down. At 3 am I picked him up and he suddenly passed gas and burped very noticebly. Within seconds the non stop screaming Kamal was fast asleep. I then woke Hema up and went to sleep.
I have to say for awhile I started thinking Kamal was being ornery but now I believe he was in a lot of pain so I feel bad. Shows I have a lot to learn.

hey if burping doesnt work try stuff like putting ur hand on his stomach flat and then going clockwise in circles or doing bubbles on his stomach with ur mouth.. if that doesnt work swaddling always works too.. remember in the hospital as soon as i swaddled him he passed gas?? I know how frustrating it gets when your child is in pain and you want to help but nothing is working... you guys are doing great though.. i am sure soon you will be experts :)
