So Kamal had his first test today and passed with flying colors :) In reality it wasn't very hard for him to pass b/c he slept through the test but it was a hearing test to determine if he had any problems which we need to know about immediately. They recommend this test so young b/c if there is a need for hearing aids they recommend the baby receive them in the first month of life so it doesn't stunt there hearing and speaking abilities as they get older.
A nurse came in and hooked up Kamal to a machine with wires going to the back of his skull and next to his ear. A computer then ran a series of noises through the wires and his brain sent back impulses which showed if his hearing worked. Mashallah he passed the test which of course is excellent news. I have posted some pictures along with a video of the test.
